BIS is the National Standards Body of India responsible for harmonious development of standardization, marking and quality certification of goods. It operates various certification schemes, maintains standards libraries, and provides training services.

The ISI mark is a certification mark for industrial products in India that indicates conformity to Indian Standards (IS). Products with ISI mark assure quality, safety and reliability as per BIS standards.

You can verify BIS certification through the BIS Care app or by visiting the BIS website and using the 'List of Certified Products' search feature. Always check for the unique registration number along with the ISI mark.
